First two minutes

Before the clock starts

Make your WhatsApp group — everyone at the table, plus your facilitator above. Everything you make gets posted there.
Two apps and one website, all free, no card ever: Gemini, Suno, and gamma.app in your browser. Install them together, now.
One phone leads on each task and everyone else shouts ideas. Swap who holds the phone between tasks.
Never used any of this before? Put a hand up and we will come to you.
Nothing confidential goes into these tools. Make the details up.

You will not finish all seven. That is fine. Most tables land four or five. If you are choosing, do 1, 2, 4 and 7 — identity, anthem, beamed photo, deck. Those are the ones that get featured on screen at the end.

TASK01

Identity & Mascot

Your table needs a name, a tagline, and a mascot — a character with a face and a personality, not a logo.

Deliver

Create a WhatsApp group with everyone at your table and add your facilitator (number at the top of this page). Group name = team name. Description = tagline. Display picture = your mascot.

Tools

Gemini for the mascot. Any assistant for the name.

Tip

Save the mascot to your gallery. You need it again in Task 4.

TASK02

The Anthem

Start this immediately

A 45–60 second track with real vocals. Your team name must be audible, and one true detail about this room today must be in the lyrics — the hall, the session, something the host said.

Deliver

The audio file, in your group.

Tools

Write lyrics in any assistant, generate in Suno. Free plan.

Start this first

Everyone generates at once, so it queues. Fire it off in the first three minutes and go do other tasks while it cooks.

TASK03

Real or Not

Runs first · 4 minutes · on the host's call

Five items land in the main group — images, a clip, a voice note. For each one your table calls it real or synthetic, and gives one line saying why.

Deliver

Five calls, five reasons, in the main group before the window closes.

Tools

None at all. Your eyes and four minutes.

Careful

A wrong call made confidently costs you. Calling everything fake loses as badly as believing everything — some of these are real.

TASK04

Beam the Team

Take a real photo of your whole table — and get some of this actual hall into the shot behind you. Then beam yourselves somewhere you are absolutely not: the surface of Mars, a 1970s discotheque, the deck of a ship in a storm.

Your mascot has to be in the frame, and one recognisable piece of this venue has to survive the journey — a sign, a banner, the ceiling, the stage. Half of where you are, half of where you went.

The original photo and the beamed one.

Tools

Gemini image editing. Upload the photo, say where to send you, then keep correcting it — the first result is never the one.

Careful

Everyone stays recognisable. Hiding at the back costs you.

TASK05

Describe the Object

Object named by the host

The host will name one specific thing in this hall — the same object for every table.

Go and look at it properly. Then write a prompt that recreates it as closely as you can. No photo, no editing, no uploading — words only. You are describing something real precisely enough that a machine can rebuild it.

Deliver

Your generated image and the prompt you wrote. Both, or it does not count.

Tools

Gemini, or whatever you made your mascot with.

Judged on

Likeness to the real thing. Shape, colour, material, scale, what is around it. Every table describes the same object, so we put them side by side.

TASK06

The Product Page

Invent a ridiculous product that solves a problem nobody has. Then build it a real web page — product name, a headline, a couple of sections, an image. Something with a link you can actually send someone.

Deliver

The live link, in your group.

Tools

Gamma, in your phone browser. Describe the product in a sentence and let it build the page, then edit what you do not like.

Judged on

Funny beats polished. A page that makes the room laugh does better than a beautiful one that does not.

TASK07

The Deck

Last 5 minutes

Everything you have made goes into one slide deck. Mascot, anthem, beamed photo, your object image and prompt, your product page. One slide each, plus a title slide with your team name and tagline.

You are still in Gamma from Task 6. Give it your team name and what you built, let it generate the deck, then drop your images in.

Deliver

The deck link, sent to your facilitator on WhatsApp. This is your final submission — if something is not in the deck, tell us where it is.

Why this one

Most people have never made a deck this way. It is the task you are most likely to use again on Monday.
